Thermo-Fused Melamine

Team Wood's melamine panels are made from decorative papers that have been impregnated with melamine resin that are then thermally fused, that is pressed with heat until the resin liquifies, to become part of the surface of the board. When these panels are cooled they become very hard, scratch resistant, stain resistant and colour fast. The net result is surface properties very similar to high pressure laminate products.

Team Wood provides consistent quality by using only top grade substrates. For our primary stock substrate we choose 45# industrial Boise pine particleboard because it provides excellent machinability without the "chipout" that is normally experienced in regular melamines. We also offer Medium Density Fibreboard and Classic Core plywood. All of our melamine panels are also available as slotwall.

Sheets range from 4' x 8' to 5' x 12' and custom shelving dimensions are offered.
The thickness of the sheets range form 1/4" and up.
